Limerick area circa 1805, with two-stage 17 1/2in. heavy gauge flared barrel, the top-flat at breech stamped with the registration mark, solid top-tang, bevel-edged lock signed 'BOYD, LIM'K', missing cock and spindle, walnut full-stock with engraved brass furniture the registration number repeated on the heel-plate spur, brass tipped under-barrel rammer, the whole encrusted with dirt and heavily wormed in the stock with possible other losses
